David Sleeth’s cardboard sculptures

Sculpture David Sleeth is fascinated by the limitations of materials and methods of fabrication in terms of the way they impact the appearance of objects. By elevating a culturally or structurally familiar object to a state of uselessness he elevates its aesthetic significance. His cardboard sculptures are glued and sanded, and look like aged drift wood logs.
