Kathryn Immonen’s I can make you love me

Kathryn Immonen’s “I Can Make You Love Me” book considers clothing and the single stitch as sites of memory. It explores the idiosyncratic and unreliable nature of confession and mark-making both in its content and in its manner of production. Each book in the edition is typed separately on a Brother Charger 11 manual typewriter with the resultant errors ‘x’ed out but persisting as a narrative palimpsest.
